No glue is needed: the pieces slot together, down to the smallest flowerpot. The shop door really opens, so you can reach inside to dust the display and close it again afterwards. The built-in LEDs light the whole shop with one tap on the touch switch set into the tiled floor, and the battery case stays hidden behind the back panel.

Your DIY Book nook Kit includes everything you need to get started: a detailed instruction guide, cutting tools, crafting papers, solid plywood sheets, and LED lights. Due to shipping restrictions, we can't include glue and batteries with your order.

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.
