Included Components

This Mrs. Hunt Bakery book nook kit includes 216 pre-cut, pre-painted wooden pieces and an illustrated, step-by-step manual.

No glue is needed, the pieces slot together. The shop is glazed on three sides, and the front door swings on a hinge, so you can open it to reach inside and close it again to keep the dust out. Built-in LEDs light the front room and both side windows, and a touch switch on the back panel turns them on. The battery case hides behind a sliding panel in the back wall.

The shop turns a corner, so each side wall carries its own lit display case. One holds four shelves of loaves, with small chalkboard price tags and the bakery name painted across the back. The other sits under an arched sign wrapped in climbing greenery, three little lamps hanging over its baskets of bread. In the right-hand window, printed cards show the loaves of the day above a white basket of baguettes and a single pretzel.
