Book nook details

The story plays out on three levels. At the top, a heavy winch is clamped to the ceiling, holding the creature by cables that run down through the whole station. In front of the eye, a tiny scientist stands on a platform taking notes, as if the monster were just another experiment. Below, stairs with green safety strips lead to a landing circle painted on the floor, between orange doors and small danger signs. The outside carries the legend too: the printed side panels show the god held in its containment chamber, and the front panel looks like the cover of an old novel, with the name of the kit written across it.

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.
