Included Components

This book nook kit includes the pre-cut, pre-printed wood sheets, the printed decor, the moss and ivy for the roof, the metal hinges, the full-color illustrated manual and the LED lighting kit with its battery box.

Glue-free assembly: the pieces slot together and nothing needs cutting. You don't need glue, though a little can help hold a few pieces in place.

LED lighting: a touch switch lights three small lamps: one under the roof and two on the ceiling of the downstairs room.

Opening front: the whole front is mounted on two metal hinges. You open it like a door to place the miniatures, then close it again.

Opening door: the round door opens and closes, with its gold knob and wide hinge strap.

Miniature accessories: the round table and its stools, the carved dresser, the staircase, the bed, the rocking chair, the lantern and the watering can are all included.

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.
