Included Components

This miniature house kit includes about 100 pre-cut, pre-painted wooden pieces and an illustrated, step-by-step manual.

The pieces slot together, so glue isn't needed, it can just help hold a few pieces in place. The clear jar and its wooden lid come with the kit: once the lid is on, the scene is closed off and stays free of dust, and the little harvest arrangement builds on top of it. Built-in LEDs light the porch, and the oil lantern lights up with them.

Your DIY Book nook Kit includes everything you need to get started: a detailed instruction guide, cutting tools, crafting papers, solid plywood sheets, and LED lights. Due to shipping restrictions, we can't include glue and batteries with your order.

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.
