The Magic Oddities Store book nook recreates the storefront of a wizard's curiosity shop, all in black wood. A gold sign runs above the door, which really opens on its hinges. A pink stained-glass window above the entrance lets the light through.

Included Components

This book nook kit includes the pre-cut, pre-printed wooden pieces, the illustrated manual and the LED lighting kit.

Glue-free assembly: the pieces slot together. You don't need glue, though a little can help hold a few pieces in place.

Swing door: the shop door is mounted on hinges and really opens. You decide whether the shop is open or closed.

LED lighting: a touch sensor lights up the shop. The light comes through the window and the pink stained glass, and lights the stones in the display.

Miniature accessories: the crystal wand, the owl, the broom, the hourglass and the potion bottles are all included.

Your DIY Book nook Kit includes everything you need to get started: a detailed instruction guide, cutting tools, crafting papers, solid plywood sheets, and LED lights. Due to shipping restrictions, we can't include glue and batteries with your order.

Can I get replacement pieces if something breaks or is missing?

If you have a missing or broken piece, you can contact us and we'll send you a replacement.
Please note that the replacement process may take some time since we're not a large company and we need to individually manufacture missing pieces, which can take a few weeks. But our team will be there to provide you with all the necessary information via email.

Is it too complicated for younger children to assemble?

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.

Are the book nook pieces dangerous for my child?

Our book nooks are made of wood, which is completely safe for children and adults. They are certified to safety standards and are free of high-concern chemicals.

Do I need additional tools to assemble my miniature book nook?

No, you have all the necessary tools to assemble your book nook without difficulty. However, batteries are not included due to customs and shipping reasons. Check the specifications section to see what batteries your book nook requires.
