Book nook details

The ground floor belongs to the painter. Large paintings in golden frames cover the walls, and white plaster busts stand on their columns. In the center, an easel holds a canvas of sunflowers, next to brushes, paint pots and a few apples on the work table. Shelves of old books fill the back of the room. Upstairs, the mezzanine opens onto the great pointed-arch window and its colored stained glass. A chandelier hangs from the ceiling and lanterns are fixed to the walls, in the spirit of Europe's old painting studios.

Your DIY Book nook Kit includes everything you need to get started: a detailed instruction guide, cutting tools, crafting papers, solid plywood sheets, and LED lights. Due to shipping restrictions, we can't include glue and batteries with your order.

Can I get replacement pieces if something breaks or is missing?

If you have a missing or broken piece, you can contact us and we'll send you a replacement.
Please note that the replacement process may take some time since we're not a large company and we need to individually manufacture missing pieces, which can take a few weeks. But our team will be there to provide you with all the necessary information via email.

Is it too complicated for younger children to assemble?

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.

Our book nooks are made of wood, which is completely safe for children and adults. They are certified to safety standards and are free of high-concern chemicals.

Do I need additional tools to assemble my miniature book nook?
