Glue-free assembly: the pieces slot together. You don't need glue, though a little can help hold a few pieces in place.

Treasure chest mechanism: the chest downstairs opens and closes over its treasure. It's the only moving part of the scene, and it goes in at the end of the build.

LED lighting: a touch sensor lights up the workshop. The door at the back keeps its blue light, which stands out against the warm light in the rest of the room.

Miniature accessories: the crystal ball, the hourglass, the lantern, the pointed hat and the potion bottles are all in the box.

Your DIY Book nook Kit includes everything you need to get started: a detailed instruction guide, cutting tools, crafting papers, solid plywood sheets, and LED lights. Due to shipping restrictions, we can't include glue and batteries with your order.

Can I get replacement pieces if something breaks or is missing?

If you have a missing or broken piece, you can contact us and we'll send you a replacement.

Is it too complicated for younger children to assemble?

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.

Are the book nook pieces dangerous for my child?

Our book nooks are made of wood, which is completely safe for children and adults. They are certified to safety standards and are free of high-concern chemicals.

Do I need additional tools to assemble my miniature book nook?

No, you have all the necessary tools to assemble your book nook without difficulty. However, batteries are not included due to customs and shipping reasons. Check the specifications section to see what batteries your book nook requires.
