It's a night at the opera, seen from the wings. Upstairs, a grand staircase comes down to the main floor, where a masked man in a red cape holds out his hand to a young woman in a white dress. A second woman watches them, fan in hand, while a man in a vest leans over a balcony. A framed portrait hangs between two columns, and the arcades of the hall line up all the way to the back. The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.
