Included Components

This book nook kit includes the pre-cut, pre-printed wood sheets, the printed decor sheets, the illustrated manual, the LED module with its battery box, the clear printed octopus panel, the small metal chains for the dock and the painted treasure chest.

Glue-free assembly: the pieces slot together. You don't need glue, though a little can help hold a few pieces in place.

LED lighting: a touch sensor at the front of the base lights the three levels of the harbor. The light passes behind the octopus panel and makes it glow green.

Miniature accessories: the treasure chest, the ship's wheel, the beer mugs, the barrels, the small ghosts and the pirate figures come with the kit.

Your DIY Book nook Kit includes everything you need to get started: a detailed instruction guide, cutting tools, crafting papers, solid plywood sheets, and LED lights. Due to shipping restrictions, we can't include glue and batteries with your order.

If you have a missing or broken piece, you can contact us and we'll send you a replacement.

Is it too complicated for younger children to assemble?

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.
