The shop plays the tale in miniature. On the roof, a golden teapot and a curious crow set the scene, above the number 18 on the door frame. Inside, the shelves are stacked with tea boxes, and a cake stand carries the famous Eat Me treats. The right-hand display window holds the great pocket watch, dice and playing cards, just like in the story. A straw broom and a lantern wait by the counter, and the black-and-white checkered floor finishes the look, down to a tiny door only a shrunken visitor could use.

Your DIY Book nook Kit includes everything you need to get started: a detailed instruction guide, cutting tools, crafting papers, solid plywood sheets, and LED lights. Due to shipping restrictions, we can't include glue and batteries with your order.

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.
