The Dwarf's House book nook is the home of the seven dwarfs from the Snow White fairy tale, dug into a tree trunk on two levels. Downstairs, a kitchen and a bedroom face each other on either side of an arched door. Outside, big mushrooms light the stone path.

This book nook kit comes with pre-cut, pre-printed wood sheets, pre-painted miniature accessories, the illustrated manual and the LED module with its wiring.

Glue-free assembly: the pieces slot together, floor by floor, following the manual. You don't need glue, though a little can help hold a few pieces in place.

LED lighting: warm LEDs light up the kitchen, the bedroom and the mushrooms outside.

Miniature accessories: the dwarf figures, the kitchen jars and pans, the lute, the cat, the crystal balls, the painting of the seven dwarfs and the mushrooms are all in the box.

Is it too complicated for younger children to assemble?

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.
