Included Components

This book nook kit includes the pre-cut, pre-printed wood sheets, the clear parts for the tank and the tubes, the illustrated manual and the electric module that turns the mechanism, plays the music and lights the LEDs.

Glue-free assembly: the pieces slot together. You don't need glue, though a little can help hold a few pieces in place. A little candle wax on the gears helps the mechanism turn without rubbing.

Mechanism and music: a touch button on the base starts the music, the lights and the parade of toys on the conveyor belt. Tap again to stop the music, and hold to turn everything off. After ten minutes without a touch, the music stops and only the light stays on.

LED lighting: the workshop, the windows and the "PRODUCTION" sign light up.

Miniature accessories: the gift boxes, the toys on the conveyor belt, the workshop machines, the Christmas tree in the tank and the elves come with the kit.

Book nook details

The small red-brick factory has a "Dream Gift Factory" sign on its tower. On the side, the "RAW STOCK" tank is a tall clear cylinder with a decorated Christmas tree inside and a red star on top. From that tank, a conveyor belt runs under clear tubes, carrying a small car and a rocking horse. The belt goes down to the "WORK LINE" workshop, where a machine ties ribbons next to gift boxes and cartons. A lit "PRODUCTION" sign hangs on a bent arm, and small green elves work on every floor. At the back, an elf looks out of an arched window, above an open door with a lit fireplace behind it.

Your DIY Book nook Kit includes everything you need to get started: a detailed instruction guide, cutting tools, crafting papers, solid plywood sheets, and LED lights. Due to shipping restrictions, we can't include glue and batteries with your order.

Is it too complicated for younger children to assemble?

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.
