This book nook kit includes 246 pre-cut, pre-painted wooden pieces on their boards, an illustrated step-by-step manual, and an LED light with its battery box.

No glue is needed, the pieces slot together. The whole roof is glazed, so the light comes through its coloured panes as well as from the lamps down in the street. A touch switch on the front of the base turns the lights on and off.

A bookshop called Carefree Books spreads its sign across one whole wall, with paw prints printed between the words. Its bay window is glazed and stacked with coloured spines, and a small wooden owl hangs from an iron bracket by the door. Opposite, the coffee house shows a wooden COFFEE sign and a curved lamp that lights the stone steps up to its entrance. Two bistro chairs and a round table are set out with cups, saucers and a jug of white flowers. A white cat has claimed one of the chairs, while a second one lies stretched out on the paving beside pots of red berries and yellow moss. Above the shopfronts, a small iron balcony and an old air conditioner sit against the yellow brick.
