This book nook kit comes with pre-cut, pre-printed wood sheets, pre-painted miniature accessories, the illustrated manual and the LED module with its wiring.

Glue-free assembly: the pieces slot together, floor by floor, following the manual. You don't need glue, though a little can help hold a few pieces in place.

LED lighting: warm LEDs light the airship's balloon and the workshop below. A touch sensor turns everything on with one tap.

Miniature accessories: the airship and its gondola, the gear wheel, the freight lift, the crates, the workbench and its tools, the armchair and the blackboard are all in the box.

Book nook details

The scene is set in the days of the first flying machines. At the very top, under a pointed-arch glass roof, an airship with a pale balloon floats in midair, its wooden gondola loaded with crates. Right below, a big gear wheel turns against the wall, linked to pulleys and cables that run down to the workshop. Wooden ladders and walkways connect the three levels, and a freight lift waits for its load. At the bottom, the workbench is covered with tools, cogs and plans, next to an armchair and a blackboard. A wrought-iron door opens onto the back room, and the "Uncle Peter's Warehouse" sign runs along the side of the case.

Your DIY Book nook Kit includes everything you need to get started: a detailed instruction guide, cutting tools, crafting papers, solid plywood sheets, and LED lights. Due to shipping restrictions, we can't include glue and batteries with your order.

Can I get replacement pieces if something breaks or is missing?

If you have a missing or broken piece, you can contact us and we'll send you a replacement.
Please note that the replacement process may take some time since we're not a large company and we need to individually manufacture missing pieces, which can take a few weeks. But our team will be there to provide you with all the necessary information via email.

Is it too complicated for younger children to assemble?

The recommended age is simply a guideline, many children ages 6 to 8 have successfully built their book nooks and miniature dollhouses on their own, simply by following the instructions provided in the boxes. If your child is used to building with Legos, they'll manage without too much difficulty.
